Week 9
If our students have these and other worries we can help them with technology.
I like the learning strategies. The strategies help our learners to organize their learning and they learn with awareness and with awareness they will be able to get rid of these worries, for example.
Learning styles of our students are important to know and to create a fruitful learning environment for students.
I think the usage of the technology in teaching English is the best tool to develop our students’ multiple intelligences.
http://esl.about.com/od/grammarlessons/a/compsuper.htm
The site helps our students to practice to use the comparative and superlative forms correctly. Students are learning how to express their opinion or make comparative judgments. The following lesson focuses on first building understanding of the structure - and of the similarity between the two forms - inductively, as most students are at least passively familiar with the forms. The second phase of the lesson, focuses on using the comparative and superlative forms actively in small group conversation.
I like the theme and I learn a lot of new about teaching with technology. I admire and enjoy my autonomous learning now!

Teaching resources
Week 8
I have spent a lot of time on project work.Excellent time!
I will send my comments on Jessica's draft soon.
ANVILL is an excellent virtual language lab.But I couldn’t take part in our Webinar. I am so sorry. I had been waited for the blackboard being uploaded for the whole period of our time. I hope I will be lucky next time!
Who was a lucky person to be in Webinar?
With the help of Voiceboard I can create spoken language tasks for my students. It is an excellent tool for listening comprehension, for pronunciation skills.
Livechat is an excellent tool for conferencing. Besides I can use it for students’ text, audio, video chats.
With the help of TCasts I won’t use a separate audio editor for recording. It’s great!
I like all teaching tools very much!
Hot potatoes will help me to create tests, crosswords, grammar exercises to practice my students’ grammar, language skills. It is an excellent tool to save my time.
Sites, blogs, a lot of new, efficient tools to teach my students with technology!
This is video about our theme, about our teaching.
Have a good time!

Week 7
Hello, everybody!
This week is about autonomy and about one computer classroom.
What can we say about the autonomy of students?
The autonomy of students can be used in five ways: 1) we should give situations in which learners study entirely on their own; 2) we should identify a set of skills which can be learned and applied in self-directed learning; 3) we should pay close attention to an inborn capacity of students; 4) we should exercise learners' responsibility for their own learning; 5) we should give learners the right to determine the direction of their own learning.
If we want our learners to be autonomous we should use cognitive strategies, meta-cognitive strategies, raise self-esteem of students.
What about one computer classroom ?
We were given a lot of strategies to use in one computer classroom. They are the following:
1.Use the computer as a teacher’s tool;
2.Use the computer as a multi-media chalk board or flip chart;
3.Students use the computer as a tool for individual work and as part of a larger group or class project;
4.Use the computer as learning center or station
5.Use the computer as cooperative learning tool
6.Students use the computer to do individual work for practice or assessment
They will help me in my teaching.
I like 25 ways to integrate the internet. They are very useful and efficient to involve our students in their autonomous learning, to motivate them, and to have results we want to have.
Creating a Computer Lab/Learning Center is an excellent idea for teaching English with technology.
Have a good weekend!

Week 6
Hi, everyone! I am glad to be with you again!
The week is very fruitful for me! The video about power point presentations are useful for me.I learn using hyperlinks.Power point presentations are available classroom technologies to teach. One of the main advantages of PPP, I think, is that we can use it in large classes. The graphic presentation is a visually-based, behavior-oriented teaching strategy that is good for learners of all ages. Our learners have self-paced instructions for students who learn best when they are instructed at their own pace. It offers logical, systematic, specific lessons.Students are initiative, they can control their learning and so they are responsible for their mastering the material presented by students themselves.I am learning the most effective usage of video in PPP. I admire the information about PPP I open at the period. The possibilities of design and comfort during preparation and submitting PPP is great.
The inataractivity takes place in large classes, the students are involved, they are active, responsible for their learning and there are no problems for involving, motivating students, for teaching large classes.
There are a lot of productive, effective, important activities that make learning process modern in large classes.
Priming, integrating, reinforcing, generating and facilitaiting engaging and effective online disccussions, using blackboard for assessment are the best way to improve in-class discussions.
I am working on my project. My students and me are surfing the Net with the sites we want to search. We are doing the WebQuest. They post me e-mails about their thoughts, ask me questions connected with the theme of the WebQuest.
They practice thier language skills on the theme. They are working with enthusiasm because they are interested in the theme. They are learning at their own pace. But they know the objectives and the goal of the project they are doing. I think that I prepare PPP " Jeapardy" for practicing their language skills. For my students' evaluation I prepared rubrics where I included criteria of the language skills they 'll have at the end of the project work, of project work itself.
Have a good time!

Week 5
Hi, everyone!
I have searched a lot of information about Project-Based Learning and I am perfectly satisfied the information suggested.
Project-based learning is a component of an inquiry-based approach to learning. In this approach, students create knowledge and understanding through learning activities built around intellectual inquiry and a high degree of engagement with meaningful tasks.
I think and agree with the authors of the sites that projects take the role traditionally afforded to assessments such as tests and quizzes. With the help of projects I can provide the demonstration of my students acquired knowledge in their individual or self way taking into consideration the variety of my student different learning styles and students will be successful in it.
I will involve 4 basic elements: 1) an extended time frame; 2) collaboration; 3) inquiry, investigation, and research; 4) the performance or submitting the project in my project-based learning activity.
So I think that project-based learning is a powerful tool in my repertoire of strategies. And it is very important for me to use the strategy at the right time and for the right reasons.
I should know the instructional needs, to ensure that content of the PBL is adequately addressed, to think if there is enough time, if the necessary resources available, If all students can be supported to produce high-quality work and so I encourage my students to become more autonomous learners
As rubrics I like them very much.
It is an excellent tool to assess the performances of my students.
At the lesson before they begin to do tasks students and me can discuss the tasks and criteria of the tasks. Students can see the gradations of quality (levels) for each dimension of the lesson and they know what dimensions are evaluated by them, by the teacher, by students.
So I am sure that with the help of rubrics the student expectations are clear, they know what to do to be successful.
They are able to evaluate the quality of their own work.
The usage of rubrics at every lesson is of great value.
With the help of alternative assessment students and the teacher know what needs to be done to successfully complete the class. It enables students to take responsibility for and self-direct some of their own learning. And learners have the chance to directly display their progress to their family members and others in their school and community.
Have a good time!

Hi, everybody!
I like our discussion very much. There are a lot of ideas about lesson planning.
Viorica’s lesson planning is based on the web materials we discussed.
I liked her usage of Voki in planning. I thought how to use Voki better. Her activity to end the story with voki avatars is an effective usage of the web tool at the lesson. Students think creatively.
There are a lot of different technologies at the lesson.
Thank you, Viorica and everybody for a lot of links you share with us.
These links below are excellent to use them at the lessons on all themes. Students can listen to native speakers they can write what they hear and read essays of their classmates. And as a result of their activities students can speak about them, analyze the material, discuss advantages and disadvantages, to suggests their resolutions and write their reflections on their pages, write e-mails to each other.

Hi, everyone!
My fruitful work makes me happy! Reading, writing, vocabulary are very interesting important themes for learning and important skills to know English.
I like our discussion very much!
A lot of new, useful links, and a lot of activities to practice reading, writing, vocabulary skills! I searched a lot of them, use some of links for practicing reading, vocabulary skills at my lessons and there are a lot of them to search and to learn, to analyze when to use them, with what level of students, what is better to use.

Week3
Hi, everybody! I am excited our discussion, our labyrinth of links, our fruitful work!
I am grateful for the fact that I can learn everything suggested in the course!
The great role of computers for educational purposes we can really realise every day.
Computers with their software, networks are used to assist language learning.
Computer- Assisted Language Learning offers us vast possibilities to provide learning process with the help of computers.
I am quite sure that CALL environment is one of the ideal place of safety for our learners to practice interaction. The envioronment of CALL creates situations for real communication of our learners, strengthen their communication skills. Our learners can listen to natives speakers when they want to listen to them.
But sometimes we can't perfectly listen to a voice because synthesising software might produce a voice with a bad quality that can be difficult for learners to understand.
In spite of this disadvantage I think that the CALL environment motivates us to use it, to practice it.
Delicious is Delicious!!!!!!!!!! It is easy, comfortable. It is your plan of working. It is your conclusion what you did.I like to use it and do new links.
The exploration of websites is pleasant and useful. Developing listening skills with the authntic material, new perspectives in teaching pronunciation and Pronunciation Training systems for providing learners with private, stress-free practice with individualized feedback on pronunciation impressed a great impresion on me and I will use the websites (Voki too) at my lessons.
Web sites with Lesson planning suggest a great amount of examples how to teach English through the interactive Web with step by step teaching guidelines and printable student worksheets.
I will use many of the suggested webmaterial at my lessons.
And ,of course we know what will be the result of our courses. The projects are very scientific.

week 2
Hello, my teachers and my classmates! I am very glad to be with you again! I would like to say again that I involved in this learning adventure with great interest!
During this week I have learned a lot. I have learnt how to use Google maps for classroom projects.
My following task is search engines.
I reviewed and analyzed different search engines Jahoo, ip12. I continue to review and analyze them. I realised that www.noodletooles.com provides innovative progressive software that teaches students. The software that supports us as teachers throughout the entire research process. It is Chicago bibliography composer with fully-integrated note-taking. It records, organizes and synthesizes information using online note cards.
Hello, my teachers and my classmates! I am very glad to be with you again! I would like to say again that I involved in this learning adventure with great interest!
During this week I have learned a lot. I have learnt how to use Google maps for classroom projects.
I have learnt the definition of Google Maps. I think that this free service of Google gives me and my students the opportunity to create and edit our own interactive maps of locations that range from local to global ones. We can use different tools such as lines, place-markers and shapes to personalize our maps. We can apply this service when we study the themes about countries, cities and my students can make a simple map of their home towns, describe the places of their traveling. I can use such activities as group work, individual work, an entire classroom project. It is an innovative method of the learning process. I am quite sure that the service will improve my English language teaching classroom practices. As for disadvantages of Google maps I think that disadvantages are not of Google maps but of the fact that I will be one of the first who will begin to introduce it in our school, in our city and in our region.I will be active and energetic in sharing the knowledge about the Interactive Web.
The next I have learnt is the ABCD Model for Behavioral Objectives. I have read and learned how to write clear objectives, how to achieve an information technology goal using the ABCD model. I have read the objectives of my classmates. It is an excellent way to practice to do behavioral objectives.
Thank you , my classmates, my teachers!
Thank you , my classmates, my teachers!
I think the ABCD Model for Behavioral Objectives will help me to design my lessons. It easier for my students to comprehend what they do at the lesson, to do the tasks effectively and to evaluate themselves. And as for me it is easier for me to conduct the lesson, to solve objectives of the lesson, to evaluate my students.
It includes also Free Software Tools, Teacher Resources. I became a current user of it. And I see that I can submit my scientific projects, my students projects there. So using this search engine I can share my ideas not only in my country but abroad.
I used Surf Wax, Look Ahead, practical tools for dynamic search.
In conclusion I would like to say that these search engines promote critical thinking and creativity of my students. It can help to automate the learning process. They can guide my learners through difficult decisions about the source material. They promote ethical research. They will help me to develop communicative competence of my students.
Thank you for your attention!

Hi! I am happy to inform you that I created my blog. I learned a lot.at first I read what a web blog is. I got to know that weblog is a journal with a lot of functions to do. At the beginning of my practice I could't navigate www.blogger.com. I followed your advice, Joddi, and changed the language of my operation system. I learned how to create a blog. I was involved in it. At first I created a Google account, and then my blog. I followed the steps how to create a blog. I learned about the types of blogs, about their usage for my work, for class. If you have your webblog you can solve a lot of personal, educational, commercial tasks, objectives you have. Tutor blog help students to learn with more motivation. Students can be motivated to read every day. It helps the teacher to plan his work taking into consideration learner's learning differences. Students practice their computer skills, and begin to love exploring english sites. It is a comfortable learning because pupils can learn perfectly at every step using comment buttons. It provides class. Learning process is clear and it is presented in details. It is an execellent self-study of pupils. As for learning blogs they "encourage the use of search engines and net surfing in English to find the appropriate sites to which links can be made". It involves our learners to read more and to have choice what to read. Students have individual writing practice, personal expression with free-form templates. They develop a sense of ownership, and get experience with the practical, legal, and ethical issues of creating a Internet document. Besides our learners exchange, share their ideas. The spreading issues are focused on a single website.
The class blog help the teacher to use different activities with pupils. It is not boring for everybody.
"Class blog is a free-form bulletin board, a space for learners to post everything.
This form facilitates project-based language learning, where learners can develop research and writing skills, create an online resource for others.
It is a way to learn virtually. It is a way to be evaluated by other learners, tutors, parents and friends.
For reading and writing classes, students are involved to know management software, like Userland's Manila. Our learners can be evaluated by classmates, parents, teachers and other people of the world. The usage of a blog for class is great. It is modern, creative, innovative way in our learning process. And may be we will have one international, world learning process in future.
