Week 4
Hi, everybody!
I like our discussion very much. There are a lot of ideas about lesson planning.
Viorica’s lesson planning is based on the web materials we discussed.
I liked her usage of Voki in planning. I thought how to use Voki better. Her activity to end the story with voki avatars is an effective usage of the web tool at the lesson. Students think creatively.
There are a lot of different technologies at the lesson.
Thank you, Viorica and everybody for a lot of links you share with us.
These links below are excellent to use them at the lessons on all themes. Students can listen to native speakers they can write what they hear and read essays of their classmates. And as a result of their activities students can speak about them, analyze the material, discuss advantages and disadvantages, to suggests their resolutions and write their reflections on their pages, write e-mails to each other.

The link with brain training games is one of interesting and useful resources for me as a teacher of English. http://www.cyberkids.com/cw/mul/sydney/

  1. Hi, Svetlana!

I am so happy that you liked my idea of using a voki. It will bring diversity at the lesson and it will be fun. I've noticed that you look for entertaining ways of teaching English. Have you tried using jokes at the lesson? it's great when you want to make your students talk, especially when you focus on Reported Speech. As a rule I search the net and find short, decent jokes, two-liners, if possible. My students love it.
